Test jig for 100 tonnes Enerpac Hydralic Ram

Diverse Engineering Pty Ltd has entrusted ABA Structures with the task of designing a jig for testing Enerpac Hydraulic Rams. This specialized jig is intended to accommodate hydraulic rams with a capacity of up to 100 tonnes. The design requires the ram to be inserted lengthwise into the jig and fully pressurized for a specified duration. During this test, the ram exerts a maximum force of 100 tonnes.

To ensure the structural integrity and safety of the jig, ABA Structures employs finite element analysis (FEA). Through this analysis, we carefully assess the design, taking into consideration the specific requirements and forces involved. The structure is designed using carbon steel plates, available in thicknesses of both 25 mm and 50 mm.

By utilizing FEA, we can evaluate the structural behavior of the jig, analyzing factors such as stress distribution, deflection, and overall stability. This enables us to optimize the design, ensuring it can withstand the significant forces exerted by the hydraulic ram during the testing process.

ABA Structures is committed to delivering robust and reliable designs that meet or exceed industry standards. Our expertise in finite element analysis allows us to create a jig that not only accommodates the 100-tonne capacity hydraulic ram but also ensures the safety of personnel and the integrity of the testing process.

With the collaboration between ABA Structures and Diverse Engineering Pty Ltd, we are confident in providing a well-engineered solution that meets the specific requirements of testing Enerpac Hydraulic Rams.
